AMSTERDAM – Dutch brand G-Star Raw has revealed the results of its ‘Homegrown Denim’ initiative to grow cotton in greenhouses to reduce its environmental impacts.
It concluded that growing cotton in a greenhouse provided a controlled and protected environment that boosted crop productivity, quality and sustainability, and lowered the risks of outdoor growing.
