ANN ARBOR – US biotech firm Kraig Biocraft Laboratories has begun commercial production of its hybrid BAM-1 spider silk at its plant in Vietnam a month ahead of schedule.
Kraig said it originally planned the launch of spider silk production in July, but that the success of the production trials allowed it to accelerate its production timetable.
