Resource saving dyeing for cellulosic fibres

LENZING – Lenzing Group has partnered with technology start-up Exponent Envirotech on a new yarn dyeing technology that is said to significantly reduce water and dye consumption.

Working closely with Hong Kong-based knitwear manufacturer Cobalt Fashion, the Ecohues technology is described as an alternative to conventional, water-based dyeing for Lenzing’s Tencel branded lyocell and modal fibres, and Ecovero branded viscose.
