IFC $100m green finance deal for Epic Group

HONG KONG – The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is providing global apparel supplier, the Epic Group, with a $100 million green finance partnership to support sustainable manufacturing in Bangladesh and India.

IFC, part of the World Bank Group, is providing Epic with the debt financing package – in the form of a $70 million sustainability-linked loan and a $30 million green loan – which is linked to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emission intensity and freshwater use.
