WILMINGTON – The Lycra Company’s near-term emissions reduction targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The SBTi has backed the textile fibre specialist’s commitment to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 from a 2021 base year, and to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services by 25% within the same timeframe.
