NEW YORK - The American Circular Textiles (ACT) coalition has launched a US-wide petition to eliminate double taxation on secondhand goods, repairs and alterations in the apparel sector.
ACT, whose members include fashion resale specialists such as ThredUp, Fashionphile, Vestiaire Collective and Unspun, works to promote circularity in the textile industry to drive sustainable job growth and reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
