AMSTERDAM – The Circle Economy Foundation has released a new report which claims to be the first ever in-depth analysis of the textiles sector’s transition towards circularity.
The Circularity Gap Report Textiles, in collaboration with the H&M Foundation, highlights an “urgent need” for a systemic shift to a circular economy and claims the sector is only 0.3% circular, below the global average of 7.2%.
