New probe reveals cost of cleaning up PFAS

Cross-border investigation claims cost of cleaning up chemicals used to waterproof textiles could be €100 billion ($100bn) a year across Europe if they remain unrestricted

The cost of cleaning up PFAS pollution in the environment across Europe could be as high as €2 trillion ($2trn) over 20 years, according to a new investigation.

The Forever Lobbying Project is behind the report which accuses the plastics industry of mounting a disinformation campaign to continue producing PFAS.
