NGOs launch due diligence handbook

A new CSDDD handbook highlights the need for practical and clear guidelines for the textile sector.

The handbook is aimed at improving working conditions in textile factories

AMSTERDAM - The Social and Labor Convergence Program has teamed up with three other NGOs to present a new handbook covering due diligence implementation in the textile sector.

Developed in collaboration with Policy Hub, Fair Wear Foundation, and sustainable trade association Amfori, the handbook is intended to support the European Commission in formulating comprehensive guidelines for the textile sector, as required by the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
