Eleven initiatives call on European Commission not to revise corporate sustainability legislation as part of red tape-cutting Omnibus plans

The partnerships will advance the transformation of the textile industry towards sustainability and circularity

BRUSSELS - A coalition of 11 sustainability and worker rights initiatives has released a joint statement the European Commission not to rewrite its mandatory due diligence legislation as part of its upcoming Omnibus legislation.

The Fair Labor Association, Amfori, Cascale, Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), ETI Norway, ETI Sweden, ETI Denmark, Fair Wear, German Partnership for Sustainable Textiles, Green Button, and Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) all put their names to the statement.
