Commercial launch for Reishi leather alternative

Following its commercial launch, Mycoworks has unveiled new tanning technology to enhance the performance of Reishi, its flagship leather-alternative material

The latest test results show that Reishi is performing higher on a range of luxury leather benchmarks

Biotech company MycoWorks has confirmed the commercial availability of Reishi, its luxury, leather-alternative biomaterial.

Announcing the launch, MycoWorks said it has also partnered with a tannery in Igualada, Spain, to roll out Rei-Tanning technology, a newly developed formula that is said to enhance the performance consistency of Reishi sheets.
