Fashion retailer opened state-of-the-art plant three years ago in return to European jeans production but says business expectations have not been met
MONCHENGLADBACH - Fashion retailer C&A is reportedly set to close its €4 million state-of-the-art denim factory in the Germany city of Monchengladbach because it has not met business expectations.
The 4,300 sq meter ‘Factory for Innovation in Textiles’ (FIT) was announced in 2021 and opened the following year in Mönchengladbach on the former site of textile machinery supplier Monforts.
