Unifi highlight sustainability achievements

Textured yarn supplier Unifi says it ramped up its textile-to-textile recycling efforts in 2024, keeping it on track to reach its target of processing 1.5 billion waste t-shirts by the end of the decade.

Writing in its latest ‘Sustainability Snapshot’, the maker of the Repreve brand of recycled yarns said it has processed 950 million t-shirts’ worth of textile and yarn waste to date, in line with its 2030 target.
