Researchers knit thread-based computer into clothes to monitor health data from all over the body

The Canadian Armed Forces is testing the thread computers in Arctic conditions as part of Operation Nanook annual military exercise in Norway

CAMBRIDGE - Scientists have developed a thread-based computer which could be knitted into smart clothes to monitor health data from all over the body.

Devices, such as smartwatches, can monitor heart rate or body temperature but only from one place whereas the new research claims thread-based computers could give a much fuller picture.
