Two Australian companies are teaming up to develop a new recycling programme in response to the country’s fashion waste crisis

Pakistan struggles with inefficient waste collection, contamination, outdated technology, and limited traceability

Textile technology firm BlockTexx and recycling specialist Pact Group have joined forces to explore the development of garment collection and recycling operations for fashion brands and clothing retailers in Australia.

The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding to determine the feasibility of establishing an end-to-end solution for discarded polyester and cotton-blend clothes.
