Study highlights circularity challenges of smart textiles

LODZ - New research by Lodz University of Technology in Poland highlights the environmental challenges posed by smart textiles and flexible electronics in textiles.

The study, published in the peer-reviewed Sensors journal, says that smart textiles which combine traditional fabrics with flexible electronic components offer groundbreaking functionality but make recycling difficult.
