Teijin is to use blockchain technology to ensure DPP-compliance for its range of carbon and aramid fibres
Japanese fibre manufacturer Teijin has partnered with traceability specialist Circularise to rollout digital product passport (DPP) technology for its aramid and carbon fibres.
Following an initial investment in Circularise in November 2024, Teijin says it will use the Netherlands-based firm’s blockchain technology to help it supply raw materials with a lower environmental impact and improve transparency and reliability across its supply chain.
