Ethical sourcing professionals in the fashion industry are given ‘insufficient support to navigate complex challenges’

GLOBAL - Fashion companies lack effective systems to address the real-world dilemmas faced by employees responsible for ethical sourcing, leaving them to navigate complex challenges without adequate support, according to a new study.

The longitudinal study of 547 sourcing professionals based in the UK by academics in Finland, Norway, South Africa and England provides insights into employee perspectives, and outlines ways companies can more effectively ensure their sourcing practices are ethical.
