Worker rights bodies row over Nike wage theft case

WASHINGTON DC - The Fair Labor Association (FLA) has accused a fellow worker rights' organisation, the Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC), of issuing "misleading" claims in relation to its investigation into a supplier to Nike accused of 'wage theft'.

The CCC had claimed that an FLA report into claims that the Hong Seng Knitting factory in Thailand pressed workers to accept unpaid leave during the COVID-19 pandemic had enabled Nike to ignore the rights of its supply chain workers.
