Researchers claim to have overcome the challenge of removing vat dyes from cotton, and other textiles, for recycling
LINCOLN - Scientists at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) say they have developed a pioneering technology that could revolutionise the recycling of denim and other vat-dyed textiles.
They say they have developed a process which successfully separates durable vat dyes - such as indigo - from cotton without damaging the fibres or the dyes themselves.
