German pioneer raises €18 million to build a demo plant for its tech which recovers both cellulose and PET from blended textiles

MÜNSTER – German textile recycling startup Eeden has raised €18 million in a series A funding round to scale its chemical process which recovers cellulose and PET building blocks from cotton-polyester blends.

The funding will enable the company to build a demonstration plant in Münster where it previously tested its technology in a pilot plant with industrial partners.
