United Kingdom agrees landmark deal to slash Indian tariffs

The United Kingdom and India have today agreed on a significant trade deal that will slash Indian tariffs on a wide range of products and services, including cutting taxes on India's clothing and footwear exports.

The UK Department for Business and Trade has announced reductions on 90% of tariff lines for UK exports, with 85% of those to become fully tariff-free within a decade.
