Apparel brands join forces on PEF initiative

A collaborative project in Norway will help fashion brands and retailers address some the key challenges associated with the EU’s Product Environmental Footprint methodology

OSLO - A group of luxury, outdoor and workwear brands have come together on a two-year initiative aimed at helping fashion brands navigate the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) scheme and life cycle assessments (LCA) calculations.

The brands, Holzweiler, Bergans, Camilla Phil and Sverre W Monsen, have partnered with the cluster for the fashion and textile industry in Norway - NF&TA, Trimco Group and Green Score Capital to develop a practical framework for reliable PEF calculations in line with European Union guidelines.
