Loop Industries, which depolymerises no and low-value waste PET plastic and polyester fibre and turns them into virgin grade polymers has executed a $1.5m engineering services agreement with Ester Loop Infinite Technologies – its India joint venture with Ester Industries Ltd.
The agreement supports the construction phase of the Infinite Loop India facility, with groundbreaking anticipated in the second half of 2025.
This new deal follows a previous engineering services agreement completed in late fiscal 2025 and early fiscal 2026, highlighting engineering services as a growing revenue stream in Loop’s commercialisation strategy. The company expects to sign additional agreements for projects in India, Europe, and other regions as it expands its global footprint.
Founder and CEO Daniel Solomita stated, “This new agreement reinforces the momentum for the India project. It helps set the foundation for construction start later this year and reinforces the model for the global manufacturing deployment of our technology.”
