Teijin Frontier unveils ‘next-generation’ stretch fabric

Teijin Frontier has developed what it claims is a ‘next-generation’ stretch fabric made using a combination of plant-derived raw materials and recycled polyester.

Initially targeted at the sportswear market, the core polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) fibre is said to result in a fabric that combines elasticity with a soft, airy texture and a natural uneven surface that helps make the fabric lightweight while providing quick drying and moisture wicking performance.
