South Korean textile firm Taekwang Industry has launched a new, plant-based nylon yarn.

Branded as Acecool-Bio, the new yarn, which is said to have enhanced moisture absorption and breathability properties, claims a 50% reduction in carbon emissions during the manufacturing process compared to the company’s standard nylon yarns.
