Teijin Frontier to expand production of high-tenacity recycled polyester filament yarn in Thailand
Teijin’s fibres and products converting company Teijin Frontier is to expand production capacity for high-tenacity recycled polyester filament yarn used in industrial applications such as tire cords, reinforcements for rubber products, and seat belts.
The expansion at Teijin Polyester (Thailand) Limited (TPL), the subsidiary firm based in Pathumthani, Thailand, that manufactures polyester yarns, will begin in November 2025, and is expected to increase production by 620 tonnes per year.
