EU deforestation law faces further delay

BRUSSELS - Environmental campaigners have expressed disappointment after the European Commission pressed for another delay in the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

Last year, the legislation, which covers wood-derived products such as dissolving wood pulp used in the textile industry to spin man-made cellulosic fibres, was put back 12 months to the end of this year.
