Partnership transforms waste CO2 for ‘sustainable’ fashion

VIENNA – Polymer manufacturer Borealis has partnered with next-gen materials specialist Fullstride Ventures to develop a high-performance foam for the apparel sector made using captured carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions.

Working with gas conversion solutions provider Infinium, one of the first applications for the new material will be in Fullstride’s ‘carboncup’ bra cup for the intimate apparel sector.
