Refiberd and GenuTrace claim two step system offers unprecedented confidence in textile feedstock claims throughout global supply chains

CUPERTINO / BRIGHTWATERS - Recycling technology specialist Refiberd has linked up with supply chain verification company GenuTrace to deliver a "dual layer" validation system which combines AI and forensic science to verify the authenticity and origin of fibre, yarn and fabric.

The partnership combines Refiberd’s AI-enabled hyperspectral imaging technology, which classifies materials by their spectral fingerprints, with GenuTrace’s forensic stable isotope analysis that verifies the geographic origin of cotton.
