Textile design platform will use funding to accelerate product development and scale pilot projects with global fashion brands

The technology claims to help save fashion brands up to 15% on materials

Fashion-tech start up Zerøtec has raised £642,000 in a pre-seed funding round to scale its AI technology, which it says can help reduce textile waste by optimising pattern design and fabric cutting.

Zerøtec claims the technology, which details costs, carbon consumption and resource efficiency metrics from the beginning of the online design process, can save fashion brands up to 15% on materials.
