The Social and Labor Convergence Program shares lessons that could help address problems around data verification in the textile sector
Following on from our recent article about the lack of data quality in textile chemical management, the Social and Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) says the textile supply chain could take a few tips from how it manages the quality of auditing bodies in the social compliance sector.
SLCP is a global multi-stakeholder initiative which aims to improve working conditions in global supply chains, including apparel and footwear, using a 'converged assessment framework' (CAF) that gathers credible data on factory working conditions.
