GOTHENBURG – The European textile industry faces a pivotal transformation, driven by escalating environmental demands and new EU policy mandates requiring sector-wide collaboration and fast-tracked innovation.
That was the view of delegates at the recent Ecosystex conference in Gothenburg, facilitated by the European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing (Textile ETP), which currently brings together dozens of projects to amplify the sector’s research voice.
