REI signs offtake for Ambercycle’s Cycora

US outdoor retailer to use Cycora recycled polyester in its REI Co-op brand products under three-year offtake agreement

SEATTLE / LOS ANGELES – Outdoor retail giant REI has signed a three-year offtake agreement with materials science company Ambercycle for its Cycora-branded recycled polyester.

The agreement will help Ambercycle scale up production of its next-generation materials and is also intended to boost REI’s efforts to minimise its waste and environmental impact.
