Laboratory analysis in Austria finds chemicals in clothing sold by ultra fast fashion giants hugely exceed limits

VIENNA - Ultra-fast fashion products sold online by Chinese-owned online retail giants Shein and Temu have been found to significantly exceed EU chemical safety limits.

Austria’s leading environmental organisation Global 2000, in partnership with consumer protection advocates AK Oberösterreich, tested 20 items of winter clothing.
