DAEJEON - South Korean scientists have claimed a breakthrough after developing a process to simultaneously produce and colour fibres using engineered bacteria.
The researchers, at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), believe their work could offer a sustainable alternative to conventional dyeing and fibre processes.
