Alpine hub in Jordan adopts iris payroll system

ZARQA – United Creations, Alpine Group’s apparel manufacturing hub in Jordan, has partnered with IrisGuard to become the first company in the country to use the EyePay Network, an iris recognition payroll system designed to improve transparency and worker empowerment in the country.

Historically in Jordan, payroll has been a challenge for both employers and workers. The apparel sector, in particular, relies heavily on a large migrant workforce, many of whom lack access to bank accounts and remain unbanked.
