SLCP welcomes BBPPI results on audit acceptance

Data shows 41.5% of suppliers reported acceptance of SLCP assessments in 2025, double the percentage in 2021

AMSTERDAM – The Social and Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) has welcomed the findings of the 2025 Better Buying Purchasing Practices Index (BBPPI), the first since Cascale bought the Better Buying Institute’s (BBI) tools and methodologies earlier this year.

Released earlier this month, the 2025 BBPPI provides an overview of the latest supply chain purchasing practices and was based on 1,340 completed surveys from producers in the softgoods (apparel and footwear) industry.
