LEEDS – At the recent ITMA Asia + CITME event in Singapore, UK engineering firm Roaches International unveiled a technical solution to bring scientific precision and repeatability to the notoriously subjective process of fabric handle evaluation.

Traditionally, describing tactile properties like stretchability, smoothness, formability, and stiffness relied on human perception and inconsistent terminology – creating costly roadblocks in textile and fashion supply chains.
