Textile Exchange’s annual conference in Lisbon saw textile-to-textile recyclers punch above their weight in terms of presence

LISBON - Walking around the exhibition hall of Textile Exchange's recent annual conference, it was easy to forget that textile-to-textile recycling still accounts for less than 1% of global fibre production.

Booth after booth was taken up by circular textile innovators with Circ, Circulose (formerly Renewcell), Sodra, Re&Up, Recover, Refiberd, Reju, Reo-Eco, and many more, among those exhibiting.
