Innovation blends Nilit’s Sensil ByNature nylon with new version of Asahi Kasei’s Roica to produce stretch fabric with ‘lower footprint’

The innovation was presented at ISPO 2025 in Munich.

MUNICH – A new fabric concept combining Nilit’s Sensil ByNature nylon fibre and Asahi Kasei’s premium stretch fibre Roica is said to offer a lower environmental footprint compared with standard performance fabrics due to its use of renewable raw materials.

The innovation, presented at ISPO 2025 in Munich on 30th November to 2nd December, blends a ‘Biomass Balanced’ version of Roica with the Sensil ByNature nylon 6.6 yarn to produce a new premium stretch performance fabric.
