CCC issues living wage roadmap for garment workers

AMSTERDAM – The Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC) has issued a new 'Living Wage Roadmap' that rejects the garment sector’s reliance on voluntary wage initiatives and calls for binding obligations on both brands and governments.

The blueprint, subtitled 'Expectations for Companies and Policymakers', updates CCC’s 2013 roadmap and argues that two decades of corporate programmes have “rarely led to meaningful wage increases” for workers in global garment and sportswear supply chains.​
