Textile recycling market to reach $20bn by 2031 – report

A new report forecasts annual growth of 5.9% for the global textile and clothing recycling market over the next five years

BANGALORE – A new report has projected the value of the global textile and clothing recycling market to reach $20.2 billion by 2031, up from $13.6 billion in 2024 and with a CAGR of 5.9% over the forecast period.

The research, from Valuates Reports, concludes that as circular economy practices gain acceptance, textile and clothing recycling is becoming an “essential component of sustainable fashion systems and responsible material management strategies globally”.
