Partners target mill‑scale jet precision dyeing

CAMBRIDGE – Alchemie Technology has teamed up with Portuguese dyehouse Acatel in a bid to push its jet precision dyeing system into large‑scale production for knitted cellulosic fabrics.

The Cambridge-based technology developer says the 12‑month collaboration aims to validate and optimise its fully electric, non‑contact dyeing process, which is designed to slash water, energy and chemical use while improving right‑first‑time production.
