Ten point plan was drawn up by a coalition of industry groups and draws on lessons from EPR schemes in other countries

LONDON - WRAP’s UK Textiles Pact has published a 10‑point industry blueprint setting out how a mandatory extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme for textiles should be designed in the UK.

The document, Blueprint for a UK Textiles EPR Scheme, draws on lessons from existing and emerging schemes in countries such as France, the Netherlands, Australia and Germany, and follows a 2025 cross‑industry statement backing EPR as “a financial lifeline” for the UK’s struggling used‑textiles sector.
