Garment supply chain shocks test due diligence

PARIS – Global supply chain shocks are now a daily reality for garment producers and brands, but speakers at an OECD session in Paris argued that robust due diligence and stronger social dialogue can turn disruption into a “shock absorber” rather than a breaking point.

Governments of heavy garment producing regions such as Cambodia can be part of this solution, argued the country’s Labour Minister H E Heng Sour.
