Recover’s science-aligned targets validated through Cascale

Mechanical textile recycler says validation confirms its scope 1 and 2 decarbonisation pathway is aligned with 1.5°C global warming limit

MADRID – Spanish textile recycler Recover has become the first mechanical recycler to have its Science-Aligned Targets (SAT) validated through Cascale’s Manufacturer Climate Action Program (MCAP).

Launched in 2024, MCAP offers support for textile and clothing manufacturers looking to set scope 1 and 2 emission reduction targets. The programme was expanded last year with the addition of two new cohorts.
