LONDON – The CottonConnect social enterprise has gone out to public consultation on its new REEL Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard that aims to extend the integrity of its REEL cotton programme from the gin through to finished textile products.

The draft Version 1.0 of the standard, now out for stakeholder review, is positioned as a “robust, credible, and transparent” framework to ensure that any claim relating to REEL‑certified cotton is accurate, substantiated and independently verifiable.
