Environmental NGO tests Shein garments for a third time and says EU REACH chemical limits are still being breached

BERLIN - Greenpeace has issued a scathing third report on Shein, claiming around 80% of tested clothing and shoes from the ultra-fast fashion giant still exceed EU REACH chemical limits, just weeks after the company pledged to clean up its act.

Entitled 'Shame on You, Shein II', the report follows investigations in 2022 and November 2025, where similar failures were exposed in products including children's wear.
