Renasens closes €10m seed to scale textile recycling

Swedish startup completes funding round to pioneer the waterless, chemical-free recycling of blended textile waste

STOCKHOLM - Deep tech company Renasens has closed a €10 million seed round to build a pilot plant for its proprietary, waterless supercritical CO₂ textile recycling platform.

Led by Extantia, with participation from Course Corrected VC and continued backing from Norrsken Launcher, the funding - said to be the largest hardware seed round in Europe this year - will be used to implement a pilot plant in Borås, Sweden.
